Mr. Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh, Chairman and CEO

Mr. Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh is the Chairman and CEO of Axact. The company looks to him to provide its vision and direction. Owing to his entrepreneurial flair and skills, Axact has realigned itself to focus on a global outreach while at the same time, giving back to Pakistani society from the company's profits.
In 1997, Mr. Shoaib founded Axact,
determined to establish a world class
information technology company.

Axact started from a one room office and under his able leadership created the largest IT infrastructure in Pakistan, Axact House. Axact has now grown and progressed to become a leader in various global industries.

The year 2005 was the landmark year when he endeavored to develop and document Axact's mission and values. It was his vision that oversaw the development of the organizational structure. The Chairman and CEO's process oriented approach led to the overall process development of the organization. Over the years under his able leadership, he developed various domains and created dynamic leaders in the different business units that have collectively played a vital role in the organization's success.

Mr. Shoaib has set the overall direction of all the units and has groomed these individual leaders to take their units to glory! That explains Axact's 8 established business units that are also the market leaders. Mr. Shoaib's vision for the future led Axact to develop a brand new infrastructure called GalAxact built to accommodate 30,000 Axactians.

Amid all the accomplishments and successes, Mr. Shoaib created Axact's value system in realizing the company's corporate social responsibility, Plan 2019, which is the manifestation of Axact's fervent determination in working to bring development to Pakistan's four key sectors - education, health, food & shelter and judicial assistance.
In 2012, the first step of
this Plan 2019 has already taken place with the launch of Free Insaaf.

At present, the company has a global workforce of over 5,200 employees and a presence with affiliates in more than 100 countries. It remains the largest exporter of IT products & services in Pakistan. The company currently operates in Karachi, Islamabad and Dubai with eight business units and products, and more than 8.3 million customers worldwide.

Mr. Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi. He received a Gold Medal in Marketing in recognition of his excellent academic performance while at IBA.

Mr. Viqas Atiq is the Co-founder and COO of Axact, Pakistan's largest and one of the fastest growing Information Technology companies with a global presence in over 100 locations and a workforce of over 5,200 employees and associates worldwide. Axact is also the largest exporter of Information Technology services as reported by the State Bank of Pakistan with more than 8.3 million customers worldwide.

Axact through his strategy and
refinement of ideas.

He has played a major role in the success of Axact right from its humble beginnings. At every step in the company's journey Mr. Viqas has been present leading through his vision and clarity. The Co-founder and COO has been a key force in the development and training of the company's management team and future leaders.

Mr. Viqas has been a key player in the planning and strategizing of Axact's vision and mission. His idea generation, adaptation and refinement skills have constantly paved way for the organization to prosper and reach to newer heights of success. His selfless imparting of knowledge and skills has helped Axact surpass all expectations and overcome all obstacles it has faced to date.

Mr. Viqas Atiq holds an MBA Degree in Finance from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi.
